I watched the movie on 01.04.25 because there was a hue and cry on scenes getting cut or removed to meet everyone's sentiments and also all the people in the WhatsApp group had already watched the movie.
Compared to the 2019 Lucifer, I felt this movie was not upto the mark and it has definitely not lived upto the hype the movie makers created.
The movie has been made in a Hollywood style and the scenes have no interlinked connection. If one scene was short in Yemen then the next was in USA.
I also left and the next time I wish to go for a movie then I wouldn't look into the social media as I was able to understand the singers artists behind the movie. The things that I had as a surprise was missing here.
I always feel like Mohanlal looks good in the nadan get up and not as a macho guy wearing pants or trousers.
But the award for best actor goes to Manju Warrier. I had goosebumps when I saw the handcuffs Priyadarshini being led away and the namaste to the people speaks volume of her calibre as an actor.
It's a sad ending to Tovino Thomas as the CM. I wonder what could have happened to a young CM to go ultra bad?
Overall, as I told earlier, it's not as great a movie as Lucifer but I didn't feel a need to get scenes of the Gujarat rape or the NIA because those are inspired from real life incidences
