Musafir Cafe
Last night I watched a series called Musafir Cafe and I fell in love with it. Any quintessential person will definitely be in the pahaad with this movie. And to think it was first a book which I missed out because I was not into Indian authors.

Hunger Strike
A lot of media emphasis has been given on the hunger strike by Mr Sonam Wangchuk. As I write this blog it's been 21 days since his hunger strike and this morning he has been moved to a hospital by the Delhi police.
I admire his self less and his determination to go on a 21 days ( and counting) hunger strike over the leak of NEET exam papers and his ( ours) demand for the resignation of the Education Minister.
I saw many vlogs about the hunger strike conducted by Mahatma Gandhi. But this strike can never be compared to the strike by Gandhi, because, when the Mahatma was on a hunger strike the English government came for a negotiation which is missing in today's government.
As per an article new minute on whether the govt can force - feed a hunger striker "The short answer is that Indian law does not provide a simple yes or no. Courts have consistently recognised hunger strikes as a legitimate form of democratic dissent, while simultaneously holding that the state has a constitutional duty to protect life."
So, what's the final action that lies with the court? Take him into custody like Irom Sharmila or let the hunger striker die like Prof G D Agarwal
I personally think the best solution is a resigned education minister

Anomie
Today I watched the movie ' Anomie' in which Bhavana was one of the producers. It was nice to see her in a movie after many years. Although, she had not disappeared from the movie industry, it's been a really long time since we saw an actor.
The movie has a very deep psychiatric path as a whole. On one side there is a full fledged dna and finger prints being used as a forensic scientist and on the other hand there is the usual use of police bangings and sketches. But both lead to the same- the killer.
It's an interesting watch and I was deeply disheartened by the sheer less number of people in the theatre
