There was a time when I almost left my country
A time when I almost left the job
And almost left my family.
There was a time when I almost fell in love
And I almost believed in sweet nothings
And almost left my self respect
There was a time when I almost left my life
And almost forgot what I was worthy of
And almost lost my ideals.
There were lots of "almost" in my life
I was charred, burnt and broken
